Christmas Day Celebration
Christmas is a time to give and forgive. Celebrated everywhere as a joyous family affair, we too, at School celebrated Christmas as a happy time for our children. Our little children of the Pre-school presented the Nativity Scene of baby Jesus. Merry Christmas
Annual Day Celebration
R.S. Public School and Little Stars-Pre School celebrated its Annual Day – 2018 titled “SMRITI” with vibrancy and life being propelled into magnificent and reverberating celebrations on 2nd December 2018. Cabinet Minister Satish Mahana was the Chief Guest for the event. Entailing the formal welcome by the Head Girl and choir by the primary and junior wing students, the progressive annual report was read by the Principal. This was followed by the Prize distribution ceremony to the students who excelled in Academics and other competitions. The evening commenced with a scintillating invocation Dance-Ganesh vandana. The English Play-Gift Of Magi, Qawali-Tarane Mehfil’, Bum Bum Bhole, Laser performance, Jungle Safari, Impact of Social Media overwhelmed the audience. Theme based dances both Western and Folk dances captivated the guests. The props and costumes added colour to the festive occasion with the synchronized dance movement to the foot tapping music. The most riveting performance which drew an unceasing applause was the “.Ramayana-UV act”, added great élan, as enthusiastic students depicted Ramayna in a unique way. An astounding visual treat enthralled every spectator present.
Hindi Debate Competition
Hindi debate competition started with a brainstorming session just to make them prepare to be the best. They were told that why we had the debates, how to have debate and its various forms. Hindi debate was held for grade school students where Grade 6 to 8 had open debate in their classes and Grade 9 to 12 had a proper competition organized at terrace area between them. Students prepared their topics themselves and were awarded with the certificates by the Principal. The primary goal of a debate is to generate effective critical thinking into primary issues for the given topic.
Through active participation in the debate activity, students compared and discriminated between the ideas and issues, and also verified the value of evidence for the concept, resolve controversies, and recognize strengths and weaknesses of the arguments.
